How to obtain an Kazakhstan Business Visa in three simple steps

  1. Passport - this must be valid for at least six months beyond your entry date, and have at least two blank visa pages.
  2. One recent passport-sized photos with a white background

Additional Requirements for Multiple Entry Visa

Temporary Visa-Free Entry

The Kazakhstan government has implemented a temporary visa-free regime, which means that no visa is required for visits of up to 30 days. Travellers can enter and exit Kazakhstan multiple times for up to 30 calendar days, from the moment they enter the country. For stays longer than 30 days, however, a visa will be required, which is where GulfVisa can help.

Coronavirus Travel Notice

Owing to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, all visitors to Kazakhstan now require a visa to enter the country. You must also show a medical certificate verifying that you do not have a COVID-19 infection, issued no longer than 48 hours before your application to the consular office. Compulsory Registration

All foreign citizens must register at their hotel or a local Ministry of Internal Affairs office within 72 hours of arrival in the country. Failure to do so may incur a fine upon departure.

Notice for multiple entry visas

Multiple entry visas valid for longer than 30 days are issued at the discretion of the embassy and cannot be guaranteed. A permit from Migration Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is also mandatory, should the inviting body be non-governmental.

What activities can I engage in with a business visa?

A Kazakhstan business visa allows you to attend conferences, workshops, seminars or discussions in the country. However, it does not enable you to undertake any activities that would be considered work or gainful employment.

Can I stay in Kazakhstan past the visa expiry date?

To remain in Kazakhstan for longer than the visa duration, you may be able to renew it at local offices which are affiliated to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. However, you will have to present documents showing why exactly you require this extension.

When is a Kazakhstan business visa valid from?

A Kazakhstan business visa is valid for up to 90 days from the date of issue, allowing the holder to stay in the country for no longer than 30 days.
