GulfVisa update regarding coronavirus: visa and document legalisation changes

In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, there have been several significant changes to normal visa and document legalisation services at GulfVisa that we would like to inform our customers of.

Coronavirus affecting visa applications and document legalisation

The World Health Organization pronounced the spread of the new coronavirus a public health emergency.

Many government buildings and embassies are now shut until further notice. This includes the British Foreign Ministry (FCO). As a result, most document legalisation processes cannot take place. There has also been a reduction in solicitor stamping services, and we anticipate this will also be stopping in the very near future. In terms of any visa applications, most embassies in London are closed at the moment – including the Saudi Embassy – meaning there is a temporary pause on any visa processes. It is difficult to predict when these embassies will reopen for service. As soon as they do, we will inform you and resume full service!

To do our part in limiting the spread of this disease and protect staff and customers, we are temporarily stopping any appointments at our office. However, you can still reach us as normal by emailing info@gulfvisa.com where we will happily respond to any of your queries within 1 working day. You can also reach us by phone if you prefer.

GulfVisa would like to wish you and your family good health in these difficult times. We encourage everyone to follow the latest government guidelines by #StayingHome and socially distancing yourself from others.
