Visa Extension

Tourist visas can be extended by the Department of Immigration and Pokhara Immigration Office for a total of 120 days. An additional 30 days may be granted on reasonable grounds from the department. Over the course of a visa year, a tourist cannot stay in Nepal more than 150 days accumulatively (i.e. roughly 5 months).

Maximum Stay

Maximum stay in any one year is 5 months. If you apply a second time in one years (1st January to 31st December), you will be issues with a 30-day visa.

Children Under 10

Children under 10 years of age will be issues with a visit visa for free.
